Founded in Sherbrooke in 1960, Portes Mackie has become one of the leaders in the lifting garage door industry in Quebec. It all started with Bernard Mackie, who was passionate about selling and installing garage doors. In 1990, Daniel Lambert, current president, acquired the plant and introduced in-house manufacturing, marking a new chapter for the company.
Consolidation and modernization
Thanks to superior manufacturing, Portes Mackie thrives. Daniel strengthens the company's position by acquiring Portes de garages des Laurentides. In 2021, the Sherbrooke plant is modernized with robotization, ensuring consistent and reliable production.
