General description
Sectional tilting doors of tubular aluminum construction. Commercial and industrial type, their maximum dimensions are 7315 mm x 9754 mm (24' x 32').
Sleepers
At 45mm (1 3/4") thick, the middle crossmembers are of tubular construction and made from heat-treated 6063-t5 aluminum alloy. The top and bottom crossmembers have a minimum height 88.9 mm (3 1/2"). All parts are attached using full length bolts. It should be noted that, for reasons of robustness and harmony, the manufacture of the crosspieces are assembled using threaded rods, nuts and toothed washers.
Panels
The 1.32 mm (0.052") thick panels are made of stucco aluminum and are attached using rigid vinyl staple moldings.
Available in single and double versions, they can be insulated or shockproof.
Insulation
In order to limit air infiltration as much as possible, the intermediate crosspieces and the lower crosspiece are fitted with interchangeable EPDM rubber weather stripping (ethylene, propylene, diene and monomer).
Standard Finishes
The standard finish is commercial anodized aluminum which is soft and clear and meets 204-ri specifications, white or black.
Options
Glazing
The glazing is placed in a rigid vinyl staple molding. The total thickness of single glass is 3 mm (4/32"), while that of thermos type glass (double) is 22 mm (7/8"). It should be noted that the glass can be replaced by acrylic or polycarbonate in different shades (consult our charter).
Special finishes
The color of the paint is chosen by the architect (consult our charter) and all visible surfaces are painted in the factory using a baked powder process. Anodized finishes are also available upon request.
Exhaust pipe
Available with a diameter of 101 mm (4") and 127 mm (5").
Tips
Also available on request in a width of 150 mm (6").
Upper and lower crossbars
Available on request in a height of 150 mm (6").

Mackie Doors Inc. guarantee the al-175 model for a period of one year against any manufacturing defects.

Replace one or more panoramic sections with one or more sections in steel or aluminum to design your hybrid door. The most used sections are the Urbania, Urbania MR, Contemporary, Grooved, MAC-175 models.
